National Security Commissioner confirms arrest of Zetas leader

Security Commissioner confirmed the arrest of Oscar Omar Treviño Morales,
also known as 'Z-42', leader of the Zetas drug cartel.
At a press conference from the PGR
hangar, Rubido said that the arrest of the Zetas leader was conducted in the
municipality of San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, without a single shot
fired.

Laredo, Tamaulipas was one of the most wanted criminals in the country.
He is involved in the attacks on
diplomatic agencies in Nuevo León and Tamaulipas, the fire at Casino Royale,
and the kidnapping and murder of migrants in San Fernando Tamaulipas.
The detainee operated in Nuevo
Laredo, Piedras Negras in Coahuila and Anáhuac, Nuevo León.
Treviño traveled with a small group
of security to go unnoticed. The operation was carried out at pre-dawn to avoid
a confrontation, Rubido said.
The arrest took place after three
o'clock, when the target was about to enter his home located at Paseo de
Coyatina street number 514, Fuentes del Valle neighborhood.
