The governor of Chiapas, Manuel Velasco Coello, expressed that his wedding with singer Anahí will be simple, with no reception or a big party, and no honeymoon.

In a press release, Velasco Coello expressed that the press reports about a planned remodeling job of the Cathedral in Tuxtla, for the expressed purpose of the wedding, are false.

The same reports expressed that there will be a wedding reception with 250 guests, and Velasco Coello said that it is not true.

"Mi fiancé and I have decided for a simple wedding ceremony, with no reception or a party, after three years of dating," according to the report.

Velasco Coello explained that they will not have a honeymoon, due to his work in the state.
