U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, Anthony Wayne, said to senators that a program of temporary work visas for Mexicans is being prepared. 

In an immigration forum at the Senate, he said that U.S. and Mexican governments expect to create a special employment visa program that will help workers who travel every year to the United States with H2 visas.

He reiterated that  an immigration reform that offers better conditions to the eleven million people that currently reside illegally in the country constitutes a priority for Barack Obama administration.
