And he is not the only one involved with the drug trafficking gangs, said the Minister of Justice

The former Minister of the Interior of the state of Michoacan, Jesus Reyna Garcia, met with the leaders of the Templar Knights, among them their current ultimate chief, Servando Gomez, “La Tuta”, said the federal Minister of Justice, Jesus Murillo, who claimed that “this is not the only case” and the investigation will continue until its final consequences.

Murillo said that “during the investigations we found a lot of evidences, this is not the only case. We can be certain that Reyna met with the leaders, I would say with the most important leader of the organizations” operating in Michoacan.

The minister added that “we have the elements to believe that there were contacts with this kind of organizations and for that we had to go deeper, and because of that and the magnitude of the characters involved is that we asked for his preventive prison” for a period of 40 days while the investigations continue.

Murillo kept for himself the details of the meetings between Reyna and the Templar leaders.

As for Reyna having links with drug trafficking organizations, Murillo said “he is not the only one. There are many cases and the instruction I have until now from the government of the Republic is to act, no matter who they are, what are the thinking or what party or political leanings they have.”

“What we are after are crimes and if we have the evidence of something illegal we will act”.
