Mexican actress María Eugenia Llamas, famous for her roles as "La Tucita" in movies of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, died at a hospital in Zapopan, Jalisco, due to cardiac arrest.
The actress, 70, arrived on Saturday to Guadalajara to live with her daughter Maru Lozano Llamas after residing for three years in Tepoztlán, Morelos.
She was born in Mexico in 1944 after her parents arrived from Spain, fleeing the civil war, and started acting when she was 4 years old.
Llamas is survived by her three children Luzma, Maru and Fernando and three grandchildren.
