The remains of Roberto Gómez Bolaños arrived at the Panteón Francés de la Piedad in Mexico City at noon.

Relatives, friends and followers of the Mexican comedian arrived at the cemetery to bid him farewell.

"Rest in peace dear daddy. The mysteries of the wise have been revealed to you. You have seen God's face," said one of his daughters at the beginning of the funeral.
