EPN visits Mexican pavillion at Expo Milan

The presidents of Bolivia and Colombia also visited the exhibits from their nations.

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto visited the Pavillion of his country at the Universal Exhibition Milan 2015.

The Mexican pavillion, as well as the Colombian one, are in the Decumano, main shaft of the Expo, centered on the theme of foods and able to bring together 145 countries since May 1 until October 31.

The presidents of Boliva, Evo Morales, and Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos, also visited their national pavillions today.

Peña Nieto arrived in the capital of Lombardy from Brussels.

Among the acts of his agenda, he is planning to attend today the closure of a bilateral economic meeting in the Palace Clerici, in that it is also hoped the presence of Renzi.

The Italian delegation was headed by the prime minister of the country, Matteo Renzi.

Convened under the theme "Feed the world, energy for life," the Expo wants to focus the world attention on the goal of eradicating hunger and producing food in a sustainable, sufficient, safe, and nutritious manner for a world population that is expected to reach 9,000 million in 2050.
